THE REAL HEAD OF THE REAL CHURCH

The real church, and as a matter of fact the *only* legitimate church in existence today, is the invisible church. It is "a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. " Ephesians 5:27. It is composed only of Christ the head, and the true, regenerate, forgiven, born-again, eternally living true Christian believers from all ages of time as the members of the Body.

And, no mortal man is the Head of this Church. Its Head is none other than Jesus Christ Himself. "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence." Colossians 1:18.

"And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church, " Ephesians 1:22

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. " Ephesians 5:23

Those who are in the visible church, that is, the churches, denominations, and congregations of today, trivialize the invisible church and venerate the visible church. This they do out of unbelief and apostasy.

In this age in which the death of the corporate church is an accomplished fact, it is the true, invisible church, with the living Christ, the Judge of all the earth as its Head, that is the dwellingplace of each and every true believer in Christ.
